North Metro Pool & Spa opened its doors in January 1986 under the leadership of owners Gene and Brenda Staab. Over the years, they have brought in many new and unique products, added needed services, expanded the showroom a number of times, and increased staff in order to keep up with growth and customer demand. Our goal has always been – and will continue to be – to exceed your expectations by providing exceptional customer service with a knowledgeable and courteous staff.

President and CEO, Gene Staab has been working on swimming pools for more than 30 years. His vast knowledge has been key in the continued growth of North Metro. As leader of our service department, Gene makes sure all our swimming pool routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations are of the best possible quality.

Vice-president and CFO, Brenda Staab has been with North Metro since its inception in 1986. In the beginning, Brenda spent her time as North Metro’s first and only retail employee. After many years of managing the retail store, and with younger family members assuming the managerial roles, she now concentrates mainly on the business of running the business successfully.

Amber Malone, Gene and Brenda’s daughter, and North Metro’s Retail Manager, Amber has been with the family business since the beginning. Training began when she was a young teenager and helped shape her into the knowledgeable swimming pool and customer service professional she is today. Helping the swimming pool novice in a way that makes pool care and repair a piece of cake is Amber’s specialty.

Shannon Lambeth has been with North Metro since 1999. As Assistant Retail Manager, Shannon does a superb job of keeping the rest of us organized. She is a favorite among our customers, knows almost everyone’s name, and will take whatever time is necessary to assist a customer with pool or spa needs. If you have a non-chlorine chemical system, Shannon is the expert you’ll want to see!

Mike Malone joined our small business in 1996. After marrying the boss’s daughter in 2003, Mike has taken on a more intricate role in the family business. As our Route Manager, Mike’s high standards of swimming pool cleanliness have insured that our route technicians only provide the topmost quality of service. Matt Finch: Last year we brought in a line of spas, and with new spas we needed a Spa Specialist. Matt Finch has filled that position. Matt brought with him 5 years of spa service and sales experience, many more in customer service, and a vast knowledge of the pool and spa industry. If you’re in the market for a new spa or if you just need help with the one you have, Matt is the person you’ll want to see.
